Get to know prepositions that tell location in this kinesthetic game. Your child will act out the preposition as someone tries to guess the word they are acting out.
What You Need:
paper bag + a marker + 10 notecards
What You Do:
1. Write the following words on the notecards (one per card):Above
2. Place the cards inside the paper bag.
3. Have your child draw a word from the paper bag (without showing anyone) and act it out. They may use props around them but must not talk. The other person must try to guess the word.
4. Continue play in this way until all cards have been acted out.
If you have a larger group of students, pair them into teams, similar to the game of charades. Compete to see which team can collect the most cards!
